Good start. But the Electoral College is the thing that really needs to be abolished!
Great cartoon. Says it all. I have already determined that I will withhold all contributions to the Democratic Party until they fix this undemocratic power-granting snafu. Don’t they know how much people love da power??? That means no money to the party through the election in November…and beyond, if they don’t fix it. All my support to candidates will either be through moveon.org or other organizations that DO represent the people. And please tell them that.
I clicked this off after less than half way through. It may have a good message but the presentation is lousy!
BRILLIANT!
Don’t know what the singing was about, but I love the message and facts about super delegates controlling the democratic party…
Fantastic job, Andrew! Can’t wait to see you in Toronto in June.
You call having a “Superdelegate” system “undemocratic”, what do you call the electoral college where someone can lose the popular vote and yet be elected president? Perhaps your time would be better spent fixing that. We wouldn’t have Bush in office if it was fixed.
Since when were the last decades in the US democratic? Just follow the money.
FIRST MAKE THEM COUNT MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA. TTHEN ADDRESS THEW FARCE THAT IS CAUCUSING.
SUPERDELAGATES. NOT AN ISSUE UNTIL THESE OTHERS HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED.
I like the beginning. Am in favor of abolishing super-delegates and the Electoral College. Direct vote of the people is my slogan. And all states should follow Oregon’s example and institute vote by mail. Then IDs would not be a problem, and fraud is nearly non-existent.
Well, the video convinced me to direct my $$$ directly to the Obama campaign & NOT the DNC.
I have dial-up service, so I really can’t watch videos on my computer without getting frustrated. Is the transcript available? Posting it would be good for folks like me and my parents, who are also on dial-up.
Was this video produced by carl rove? It certainly seems anti-Democrat. I love the little boy who is too stupid to understand math. That’s an American thing, not limited to the Democratic party. It sure is embarrassing to call oneself an American these days.
